Weekend

Well I had the opportunity to spend the weekend with my brother and some friends doing some ice fishing.  Early season, early ice can yield really good fishing!

As for fitness not too much as I wasn’t about to start running around on the ice leaving my lines un manned.  Someone has to put some time under the ice!  Even with the fishing not so good I had a nice time.  It was one trip watching the couple fish head up with that clear ice!

For food, well I didn’t do fantastic but I really could have done a lot A LOT worse.  Previous years with something like this I would have done horrible.  On Friday we did eat Wendy’s and I did eat an entire medium sized meal.  No soda, no extra starters or nuggets or any of my other “normal” activity, but still too much food.  Saturday we stopped at the Pizza Ranch, I didn’t do horrible, but I could have had one less breadstick and one less slice of pizza.  But as for the rest of my meals, I did well.  I brought some protein bars, almonds, buns, turkey and turkey burgers. It worked out pretty good and I am proud I didn’t fill up on junk food.

Sunday was a disappointment for me as I didn’t go workout like I wanted to, but honnestly my legs are still sore and I just wanted some time to relax after 16 hours in the car.
